I started my first Tae Kwon Do class in 1982 at the age of six. My parents thought it would be good for discipline and self-defense, and they were right. Even at that young age I knew that it was going to be so much more, and Martial Arts became a great passion in my life, an even now, twenty-two years later it still burns with in me. I began competing in tournaments at the age of eight and continued until I was seventeen. I earned my first black belt when I was eleven and advanced slowly to a Third Dan.
At the age of fifteen I began to study boxing and privately began to put the two together. I continued to study and to give private lessons for several years, always knowing I wanted to open my on school. After much prayer, God blessed me, and opened the door and gave me a wonderful opportunity to open a school in Albany, Louisiana. I believe in teaching our students to respect the history of Martial Arts, and to be people of integrity.
