Dr. Bob Davis, 10th degree black belt - Dr. Davis earned his Ph. D. in Martial Arts Science in 2001 and is the founder of the Omega Tao (All-encompassing) system. His personal education in the martial arts began in 1967 out of a need for self defense. He holds high-ranking degrees of black belt in the styles that make up Omega Tao: Tae Kwon Do, Isshinru, Judo, and Jujitsu. Combining these arts with American boxing and training in several different weapons, including the rarely seen three-section staff, convinced the governing board of the World Congress of Martial Arts to declare Omega a sovereign system and promoting Dr. Davis to 10th Degree in 2002. Dr. Davis was ranked as a top full-contact fighter for several years before retiring to point fighting and forms competition at all levels. His considerable knowledge has since been used to coach and referee at national and international levels. Students are struck by his gentleness and genuine humility. Omega Tao is Dr. Davis’ full time passion and work. He is currently northwest regional director of the World Congress of Martial Arts.

Sab Bum Nim Kathy Davis - Mrs. Davis is co-owner of Omega Martial Arts. She began her training in 1975, but let other interests take her away, returning in 1995 and attaining 1st degree black belt in 1999 and 2nd degree in 2001. Mrs. Davis began helping with Kid Kickers in 1995 and co-teaches with their son, Ryan. She has competed in local, regional, and international tournaments and is heavily involved organizing events for Omega full time. Kathy was awarded the title of Professor of Martial Arts by the World Congress of Martial Arts in 2002 and is a certified international center referee. Mrs. Davis is the Senior Cardio Karate Instructor for Omega as well. She enjoys reading, crafts, sewing, and Bible study.
